The ramblings of the Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church of Detroit. Piety Hill refers to the old name for our neighborhood. The neighborhood has changed a great deal in the over 160 years we have been on this corner (but not our traditional biblical theology) and it is now known for the neighboring theatres, the professional baseball and football stadiums and new hockey/basketball arena.

Jesus Christ is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE...

....nobody comes to the Father but by him!

And yet, we hear that the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles holds a join service with hindu clergy and the Bishop APOLOGIES for converting them to Christianity! SHAME. I thought the bible said that we are to go out and baptise ALL NATIONS. Sounds like the bishop and those of distorted faith are ashamed of the good news that Jesus is Uniquely Lord and the only way to salvation. As it says in Luke's Gospel...

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

Pray for the conversion of all these folks!
