Piety Hill Musings

The ramblings of the Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church of Detroit. Piety Hill refers to the old name for our neighborhood. The neighborhood has changed a great deal in the over 160 years we have been on this corner (but not our traditional biblical theology) and it is now known for the neighboring theatres, the professional baseball and football stadiums and new hockey/basketball arena.

How to spend a glorious Spring Saturday

Baseball, of course. Two practices again with my boys. This time I had an hour between the Tigers (Major league with Sam and Andrew) and Rangers (Double A with William).

Enough time to get home and apply ice!
It is a new shoulder pain, different from last year (perhaps the therapy over the winter fixed that problem).
But this year I get to ice my elbow as well since I am over-compensating for the shoulder.
Perhaps it really is the whole "getting old" thing.....
