Piety Hill Musings

The ramblings of the Rector of St. John's Church in the city of Detroit. Piety Hill refers to the old name for our neighborhood. The neighborhood has changed a great deal in the over 165 years we have been on this corner (but not our traditional biblical theology) and it is now known for the neighboring theatres, the professional baseball and football stadiums and new hockey/basketball arena.

Happy Birthday Meg


Two today!
She had a wonderful day. We got her a Little Tykes slide, that we put up inside the house and she rode about 100 times before breakfast!
This evening she got a "princess box", which was a chest full of dress up things (dresses, tiara, rings, etc) for which as a girl she has a natural affinity! She was also given an Elmo doll which is as big as she is!
This picture was taken two weeks ago at Disney.
