Piety Hill Musings

The ramblings of the 46 year old Rector of St. John's Episcopal Church of Detroit. Piety Hill refers to the old name for our neighborhood. The neighborhood has changed a great deal in 150 years (but not our traditional biblical theology) and it is now known for the neighboring theatres and the professional baseball and football stadiums behind our 1859 Chapel and 1861 Church.

Some views from the Shrove Tuesday gathering

A great time was had by all! It was our largest Shrove Tuesday gathering to date, about 60 people, and a dozen acts were shared at the talent show.
